Domestic counterparts are far more than my imagination. Too many misunderstandings, so I don't know where to say it. I am unable to get so many misunderstandings, tell my own story.

G-roller

http://cosoft.org.cn/projects/groller is an Open Source project I initiated, a WebLog server software based on J2EE lightweight solution, with a purpose to build and verify a general purpose use of OLTP type web applications. Business frame. In October last year, I used two weeks of spare time to complete its foundation framework, which has been maintained and has been upgraded, and several other friends contributed to Gui and some Improvements. Now our company's project is using this framework, in addition, there are at least three companies' projects use it as the basic business framework. We are still constantly contributing to Open Source and constantly improving this project.

So far, there are about four categories:

The initiator and the main developer (that is, I himself). Before before and after, I used a probably a month of spare time on this open source project, mainly to develop core frameworks and sample applications, almost no GUI. Now our project uses this framework, that is, 90% of my work is applied in the project, the technical exploration time in the previous period of the project is saved, equals the company to pay for me. Because of the project Open Source, I got a valuable feedback and Peer Review, this is my extra harvest. Auxiliary developers (with two). They found and modified some of the BUGs in the G-Roller framework and made a simple but available GUI. Their contribution enables the G-Roller framework to truly applications in enterprise development, avoiding deep-hidden bugs hazard in later periods, and a GUI also makes G-Roller more affinity. At least one of the two is already using this frame in the project, I believe this greatly saves his time cost. Users (one to two). They did not propose more changes, but directly using the G-Roller framework as the business framework of their own project. Since there is no business framework for Open Source, they save the time of autonomous development, and I can get my free technical support - although it is often unknown. Followers (numerous). Includes students and professional developers. They did not propose more changes, and there was no practical application, just learning the design ideas. G-Roller is a Sample Application that understands the basic usage of Hibernate and Spring, as well as the best practices in the architecture and design.

Here, in all of these focus on Open Source, have anyone who contributes to Open Source? Is there anyone who needs this for a high-yield? Does anyone benefit because Open Source? Open Source is such a thing that makes everyone benefits, and I seem to be obvious, why do you have so many disputes?
