Although it has been exposed to J2ME very early, it is about 2002, and J2ME has made a simple client application in the beginning of 2003, but work I have found that my foundation is still relatively weak, and there are too many technologies that need to learn.
In this month, I came to a new environment, and I didn't have a lot of work in hand, so I can learn J2ME for a lot of time and do some exercises. After this time learning and use, I found that J2ME's technology is still relatively simple. It can be started quickly. As long as the direction is selected, it is not difficult to learn in depth, the basic technology such as advanced user interface, low-level user interface, record Storage systems, network programming, etc. are simply available for several classes.
About the manufacturer SDK in practical applications, now using NOKIA's S60 and S40 series, other manufacturers SDK have some, but there are not many contacts. In fact, manufacturers SDK and WTK comparison, generally extended vendor APIs (such as NOKIA's UI API) vendor's own simulator. If there is a basis for WTK programming, learning should be very fast.
But learning J2ME programming is the biggest difficulty is logical implementation. I believe this is also the hardest part of all programming, so learning J2ME programming, just learning technology is still not enough, it also requires strong logical thinking ability, of course, if you want to do 3D programming, you need a strong space thinking ability. . And there are many details in J2ME programming, such as the memory of the equipment is limited, so you should pay more attention to the memory, optimize the algorithm, which needs to develop good program habits and more time accumulation.
After studying for more than a month, I found that there is more and more things that I need to learn, and there are too many places that are lacking. I will have to study more efforts. I hope to improve with you.
